The Bulkeley Hotel, Beaumaris

The Bulkeley Hotel is located in the centre of Beaumaris looking directly over the Menai Strait, onto the mountains of Snowdonia. Originally built in 1832 by the Bulkeley family, The Bulkeley Hotel was built for a visit by the then Princess Victoria.

A Grade 1 listed building ,it has been tastefully restored into a prestigious hotel containing many period features. The Hotel, which is a member of The Best Western Group, has 43 en-suite bedrooms, along with several function rooms, a restaurant, a bistro, a bar and a coffee bar. The hotel allows the past to gracefully blend with the present, its traditional architecture and features mixing with modern up-to-date equipment and facilities

The hotel caters for the full range of food requirements from a simple pub style meal to a complete banquet. The bistro, which has recently been refurbished, is open dail yfrom midday to 9pm to provide light bites and pub style meals. Our Hansom Restaurant, which has up to 25 tables, caters for 4 course evening meals and Sunday lunches. In the ballroom, with its own bar and facilities, we can accommodate and cater for functions of up to 140 people.

The grounds are complete with a terrace and beer garden from where you can enjoy a quiet drink or coffee & cakes from the coffee bar whilst savouring the beautiful views of theMenai Strait  & Mountains of Snowdonia.
