Anglesey Circuit
The word is out in the motor racing world that the newly opened and developed Anglesey Circuit between Rhosneigr and Aberffraw is something special. For a start is has four cleverly designed circuits, challenging motor enthusiasts from introductory stages to professional and advanced levels.
The bookings from all over the UK from motor and motorcycle clubs and associations are coming in as fast as lap times.
As well as instruction and training, there are corporate activity days and competition days. But for press officer Andrew Mon Hughes, the major satisfaction is that the project is now up and running. “With the International GP circuit, I think we have, in design terms, taken the best from other circuits and incorporated them into our own. It will challenge the best”.
The location is astonishing, with Snowdonia in the background, and the Irish Sea a few yards away. Understandably, there is great excitement about the track’s potential – Andrew is not good at disguising it - and with additional resources and facilities planned, Anglesey Circuit’s reputation as a first class motoring venue is firmly assured.
